Geological Museum at Taihu Xishan Geological Park in Suzhou Opens to Visitors

The Geological Museum at the Taihu Xishan Geological Park in Suzhou has recently opened to visitors.

It is constructed on an area measuring at total of 6,000 square meters and is a facility that has various exhibition halls – including an Earth hall, a Minerals and Earth Resources Hall, a Geology and Environment Hall, an all-purpose auditorium, etc.

The museum systematically introduces the different sites of notable geological formations throughout the park and their study value. It also includes displays and samples of various rocks, minerals, and fossils – providing invaluable information showcasing the geological structures and formations unique to the Taihu area.
