Fuzhou is well connected to the rest of Fujian Province by the road and rail networks, which stretch across the whole of the country and connect the city with the larger Chinese destinations. The Changle International Airport connects Fuzhou with most major Chinese cities and Hong Kong.
Fuzhou Port is an important gateway for Fujian Province as well as Fuzhou city to open to the outside world. This port has services to Nanping and Mawei as well as Putuo Mountain and Ningbo. It also has dealings with over 40 ports around the world.
