Fuzhou Changle International Airport (FOC) is situated 39 kilometers from downtown Fuzhou. Currently, there are 54 domestic and international airlines that go to 47 major cities around the world including: Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Tokyo, Osaka, Hong Kong, Taiwan and more. There are more than 150 domestic services daily to cities all over China including Beijing (2.5 hrs), Shenzhen (1 hr 10 mins), Shanghai (1 hr), Guangzhou (1 hr), Wuyishan Mountain (30 mins), Harbin (4.5 hrs), Chongqing (3 hrs) and Xi’an (2.5 hrs).

A shuttle bus operates from the Apollo Hotel in downtown Fuzhou. It takes about 55 minutes to get to the airport and costs 25 RMB. Taxis to the airport from the city cost up to 160 RMB, though if you arrange for a pick-up in advance a much better price can be negotiated.
