Fuzhou Lantern Festival will be taking place between February 10 and 14, in celebration of Chinese New Year. The event will take place on the banks of the Mawei river, with lanterns being strung on both sides. As you enjoy the sight of lantern reflections bouncing off the water, munch on some snacks, join in some of the many activities going on or just sit back and watch some traditional folk performances.

When: Feb 10-14, 18:30-21:00
Where: Xindalu Yihao, Minjiang Beian, Mawei District, Fuzhou
How much: Free entrance
Getting there: Take bus 139 to the New World Technology Park (新大陆科技园) station and alight
