The fourth China Hangzhou Chaoshan Plum Blossom Festival is being held at Chaoshan Scenic Area in Yuhang District from February 18th to March 1st. During the festival, in addition to gazing at the seemingly-endless landscape of springtime plum blossoms, you'll also be able to take in some of the works of the late great artist Wu Changshuo (吴昌硕); visit the First Plum Blossom Art Exhibition; go biking around Chaoshan, take a day trip around Chaoshan Hill and Tangqi Old Town and more. Also, be sure to check out "Tangmei" (唐梅) and "Songmei" (宋梅), two of China's five ancient plum trees, which date back to the Tang and Song Dynasties.

Getting there: Take Bus No. K309, K338, K509 to Linping Bus Stop (临平) and transfer to bus No. 319 to Chaoshan (超山); or take the free shuttle bus from the tourist centre at Huanglong Stadium (黄龙体育中心) to Chaoshan.
