The first Guilin Taohua Bay Beer Festival will be held at Taohua Riverbank Lu Family Village (桃花江畔鲁家新村) from Sep 30-Oct 4. The festival will feature three giant mooncakes on display (it is Mid-Autumn Festival after all), the largest of which is 1.5 m across! The last four days of the festival will include 3-minute "drink-offs", five-man beer relays, and other inebriating contests.

Getting there: take bus No. 3 to Feiluan Qiao (飞鸾桥站)
