Since the beginning of March, China Comfort Travel Agency in Suzhou has started reservations for the first of its Expo group tours to Shanghai this summer. Ticket price and preliminary travel routes have so far been determined: weekday tour tickets are 208 RMB/person and weekend tour tickets are 228 RMB/person. On March 16th, a staff member at the travel agency reported that in less than two weeks since they've first started taking reservations for the group Expo tour, the 2,000 slots they've allotted for the first tour in May had been all booked out. “We've had an average of 150 walk-in reservations a day, with some days going up to more than 200,” the staff said, “and this is not counting the phone reservations.”
