Those wishing to escape to tropical Yunnan from Wuxi will have it a little easier soon: the first ever direct flight between Wuxi and Lijiang opens on October 27. Flights are available every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. From Wuxi, the flight departs at 19:05 and lands in Lijiang at 23:10; the return leg departs from Lijiang at 15:25 and arrives back in Wuxi at 18:15. To make a booking go to http://www.luckyair.net/.
