Chengdu will host a grand fireworks party at 8pm on October 1st. Themed “Splendid China, Harmonious Chengdu, Beautiful Chengdu”, the fireworks will be displayed in six venues including the Sports Center and the Youth Activity Center. The presentation will last as long as 30 minutes. The fireworks will light up the sky with symbolic patterns of big footprints, smiling faces, Olympic China, and so on.
