Financial Times: Increase in Foreigners Leaving Beijing Due to “Airpocalypse”
Apr 03, 2013 By eChinacities.com

An increasing amount of foreigners are leaving Beijing due to the torrid air conditions, dubbed the “Airpocalypse”, according to an article published by Financial Times on April 1. The article cites diplomats, high-end managers, and local companies that provided services to expats.

Many foreign private doctors in Beijing’s international hospitals have also announced their plans to leave due to the environmental issues. The ongoing exodus has reportedly caused difficulties for a number of recruitment companies who are in need of foreign employees.

Air pollution has been a highly discussed issue among Beijing locals as well, especially after statistics were released by the Chinese government and the US Embassy during January’s “Airpocalypse” period, which showed that toxic concentrations were 40 times the recommended standard set by the World Health Organization.

It's all fake. Nobody is experiencing any more or less 'pollution' than they do in New York or any other major city. It's embarrassing so many fellow foreigners are becoming these gluten-free little twerps scared of the scary air now. None of this is real. It doesn't matter and nobody is dying from 'smelly air'. And yes a lot of this is humidity (fog) and smells from the city (not poisonous gasses).

Murders, thefts and prostitution all occur. People dying from air-pollution does not occur. Its a myth made up by neo-marxists and liberals. You may hate the smell! You don't like inhaling it sure. But you aren't going to die from it.
