In October of 2011, on the set of "The Expendables 2" in Bulgaria, Jet Li's stunt double and native of China, Li Kun, was accidentally killed by an on set explosion. His family has filed a lawsuit in the Los Angeles Superior Court, charging the film producer and related film companies with failing to safeguard Li Kun's safety and implement correct safety procedures. Specific charges include unreasonable safety arrangements and a lack of practice before final execution of stunts. The family is suing for 25,000 USD (about 160,000 RMB) for the death of their 26-year-old son.
