Take the new high speed direct route from Fuzhou’s Mawei Harbor at 10:30am and arrive in Jilong at 3:30pm. Before, average direct passenger ferries from Fuzhou to Jilong reached a speed of 20-25 knots and took about 8 hours. However now, since Fujian has launched the luxurious direct ferry also used by Taiwan, the average speed can reach up to 35 knots and has reduced journey time to 5 hours approximately.
