Tianjin Kangshifu will be battling it out against Shanghai Shenhua in the upcoming 2012 Chinese Super League match on August 11 at the Tianjin Olympic Center. Tianjin Kangshifu Football Club’s predecessor is the Tianjin Teda Football Club, who once earned 6th place in 2009’s Chinese Super League Competition. The Shanghai Shenhua are known for their two championship victories at the CFA Cup and the A3 League. They have also represented China several times at the AFC Champion Leagues, but unfortunately had lackluster results. This year’s lineup of matches promises to be one of the most exciting in years with the arrival of football legend Didier Drogba bolstering the Shanghai Shenhua ranks.
