Daqing Sa’ertu Airport Official opened for public use on September 1, 2009. The airport is only 19 km away from the eastern part of the city and 29 km away from the western part of the city. This airport has two operational airlines. Flights are now available to Beijing (2 hrs), Shanghai (4 hrs), Guangzhou (6 hrs), Qingdao (2 hrs), Hangzhou (3 hrs), Xi’an (requires a transfer), Chengdu (requires a transfer), Dalian (requires a transfer), Sanya (requires a transfer), and more national destinations. Daqing has shuttles that go to the airport for 15 RMB per person. If you choose to take a cab, this will cost approximately 50 RMB. There are no public buses available to the airport.
