On August 17th and 18th, Canadian dance performance “Shumka at 50” will be performed at the Wuhan Qintai Grand Theater. The Shumka, a dance troupe for the last 50 years, performs full-length, professional dance theatre touring productions, as well as more intimate concerts across Canada and around the world. Their productions combine the genres of Ukrainian dance with the classical and contemporary movements to create dramatic storylines, which are recognized as being distinctively “Shumka” style.
