Dalian Wanda Group Co Ltd plans to inject RMB 8 billion into Jinniu District in Chengdu, Sichuan Province with a view to start a comprehensive real estate project in the latter half of this year, sources reported.
The multi purpose project will cover an area of approximately 1.2 million square meters and will include Grade A office buildings, supermarkets, and shopping malls, etc.
Upon the completion of the huge construction project, the group will rent, not sell, its commercial space, according to the real estate enterprise. Reportedly, the company earmarked RMB 1 billion for undeveloped land covering an area of 280 hectares in Shanghai's Jiading District last November.
