Dalian Transport - Train

Dalian has train lines to many cities in northeast China, including Changchun, Shenyang, Jilin and Harbin. Travelers headed for farther destinations may have to change trains at Beijing. The Harbin-Dalian High-speed railway opened officially on July 1st 2012 and it takes only four hours from Dalian to Harbin and 2 hours to Changchun. Dalian Railway Station is located at 260 Changjiang Road, and is conveniently connected with all parts of the city. Station No.1 Ticket Booth is wheelchair accessible.

There are three different ways to book a train ticket from Dalian: over the phone, online and at the ticket window. Tickets can be purchased over the telephone (9510 5195) up to 12 days in advance. If you want to reserve tickets for trains departing between 6:00-12:00, the tickets must be collected on the same day between 12:00-24:00. For tickets departing between 12:00-23:00, ticket pick up time is from 0:00-12:00. Tickets are non transferable and are void if not used on the correct day.
