In 2009, the Cultural Relics Protection Center of the Jinsha Relic Museum, the most advanced and top cultural relics protection organization in Southwest China, will commence operation.

The center will include many protection and research departments for ivory, wood, gold, and bronze artifacts and cultural relics and will work in tandem with similar international organizations.
