The Creation and Training Base of Chinese Folk Art Forms (“Qu Yi”) was recently inaugurated at Luyi Shanzhuang, Dachen Town. The base, which provides a platform for amateur performers, was set up by the Yiwu Ballad Singers Association with the aim to prosper folk art, enrich citizens’ cultural life, and carry forward Yiwu’s tradition as the Hometown of Chinese Folk Art as well as to produce and promote more outstanding Qu Yi works.
