England Premier League giants Liverpool FC, together with the English Football Association and the city of Guilin, began construction on the "Guilin International Football Tourism and Culture Industry Park" on August 8 in Xiangshan District. The ambitious 3 billion Yuan project will span 90.3 hectares and will be built in three phrases and will include an international football center with 50,000 seats by 2018, as well as international football schools, sports rehabilitation centers and football theme parks.
