This event would be of interest to CEOs, General Mangers, HR Managers and other Managers who have concerns about their company's proprietary information being stolen. What is commercial espionage and how prevalent is it really, both in China and elsewhere? This presentation will examine the different forms of commercial espionage in use today and assess the extent to which it exists. Particular attention will be paid to the recent explosion in cyber espionage, as rapid advances in technology have allowed ever increasing access to confidential data. Real-life case studies will be used to demonstrate the realities of how companies and individuals are targeted. From there the presentation will conclude with some practical steps one can take to protect their company's trade secrets.

Speaker's Biography:
Greg Hallahan, Regional Business Development Director, Pacific Strategies & Assessments

Originally from Ireland, Greg has been living in Shanghai for the past five years, though has been in and out of China since 1993. Greg has a wealth of experience in risk consultancy in China, and his work has taken him to most of the major cities across the country. He joined PSA in 2006 and focuses on due diligence projects, internal investigations and pre-employment screening. Greg also advises clients on the commercial espionage risks they face, both in China and throughout Asia as a whole.
