“Minor offences will be fined 5 RMB, talking back to a teacher is 10 RMB, breaking school rules is 50 RMB, etc.” Parents are baffled and concerned about new class rules implemented at a freshman class in a junior high school in Changchun. The faculty at the school said the fines would be collected and rewarded to the ten most punctual students.
