Through traditional paper material application, there are generally six months before receiving the notice of the admissibility from the National Trademark Office; while online trademark application can be sent to the National Trademark Office on the same day. In addition, a discount of 20% can be enjoyed for online registration of trademarks, or RMB 800 per piece. However, seven trademarks such as collective marks, certification marks and personnel portraits are still inapplicable for the online application.
