The second Chongqing Huayan-Longmenzhen Lotus Tourist Festival is set to kick off on July 24th and will run through October 7th. The festival will be held in the Jiulongpo Huayan Scenic Spot to the Southwest of the city. Visitors only need to buy tickets to the scenic spot and then they can enjoy a wide range of free activities including: Lotus show, singing and dancing, Buddha stone culture and an arts festival. The festival also includes a summer beer concert series.
