Chongqing: “China’s Capital of Hot Springs”

On January 6th, Chongqing, together with Tianjin and Fuzhou, was awarded the title of “Hot Spring Capital of China” by the Ministry of Land and Resources of China.

According to statistics, Chongqings’ hot spring distribution area reaches 10,000 square kilometers and has more than 100 verified hot spring sites. The quality of Chongqing’s hot spring is relatively high and the temperature of most of the hot spring water is 40-55 degree Celsius.
