China's first Anantara Resort (a Thailand-based resort operator), the Anantara Sanya Resort & Spa (三亚安纳塔拉度假酒店) will officially open in Sanya on September 15. The five-star luxury hotel features 122 standard rooms and suites, as well as luxury villas with their own private swimming pool. Four distinctive restaurants and bars are available in the hotel, most notably "Shi Yuan" (食源), which prominently features western cuisine. In addition, the hotel will host a "Savour Flame" event twice per week, offering guests a memorable waterfront dining experience.
