China is poised to overtake the United States as the world’s biggest business travel market, according to HRS, an online business travel management expert.
Over 500 multinational corporations have headquarters in Shanghai alone, with Pudong and Hongqiao airports the most popular destinations for business travelers. Shanghai is China’s biggest business travel market, followed by Beijing and Guangzhou.
The annual expenditure of mainland business travelers will total 200 billion USD this year; this figure is expected to rise to 277 billion USD by 2015.

Just try to avoid the subway during rush hours. And the mad dash for subway seats at Pudong is a must see/experience.

i hope this is an honest article. it could also be a willful misinterpretation of: "largest numer of a-hole tourists that buy business class tickets." i.e. business travel market.
