A China Southern flight from Urumqi to Beijing was forced to make an unscheduled landing in Lanzhou's Zhongchuan airport on October 8 after the airport received an anonymous call about a terrorist plot onboard. After a 4-hour investigation failed to discover any sign of a terrorist threat, the aircraft resumed its flight toward Beijing at 22:45.
