China’s first in-flight internet service was put into practice on July 3, with the Air China flight CA4108 from Beijing to Chengdu being the chosen flight.

Passengers were able to check their Weibo and emails during the flight using a free Wi-Fi network. This service is being hailed as a major breakthrough in the Chinese aviation industry.

Is the first time in China, but doesn't mean that is the first time in the World. There are already some western companies that do this. Despite the contradiction between on the title of the news and the text, that can brings for a wrong conclusion, anyway, that's really interesting that China have started this kind of service.
