China Eastern Airlines has recently announced that it has acquired the aviation right to fly between Shanghai and Hawaii and will consequently launch regular, direct flights between the two areas on August 9th.
The flight is scheduled to take off at 16:00 from Pudong International Airport and arrives in Hawaii at 01:50 the next day; the return flight departs from Hawaii at 03:50 and lands in Pudong International Airport at 14:40. It runs twice a week: on Tuesdays and Fridays.
