The Children's Ballet of Ukraine will perform "Cinderella" at Zhengzhou's Henan Art Center on August 20-21. The ballet company has more than 500 students aged 3-18 and boasts a repertoire including Peter Ilyich Tchaikovsky's classic ballet "The Nutcracker," "Snow White and the Seven Dwarves," as directed by Solovyov, and Chernyshev's "Cinderella." The piece was originally composed by Sergei Prokofiev between 1940 and 1944 and had its grand premier at the famous Bolshoi Theatre in 1945. The production offers jubilant music, lush scenery and an all-round entertaining performance.
