Chengdu East Railway Station in Service since May 8th

On May 8th, Chengdu East Railway Station, which had been under construction for 2 years, was put in service. Eight trains now run from Chengdu to Changsha, Guilin North, Guangzhou and Wuhan, with tickets already on sale. Due to the geographical importance of Chengdu as the core intersection of Sichuan transport, Chengdu East Railway Station will also be the first departure station for lines linking Sichuan to other provinces.
