The Chengdu – Chongqing Railway Passenger Line has officially started construction. The transit line will measure 308 kilometres and construction will continue for the next four years.
According to the plans, once the direct passenger line is completed, the journey from Chongqing to Chengdu would half the current journey to under one hour.
