Changchun among China’s Happiest Cities in 2009

Hosted by the Oriental Outlook magazine affiliated to Xinhua News Agency, the result of the 2009 Happiest Cities in China list were revealed on December 26 in Xi’an. Ten cities were on the list: Hangzhou, Chengdu, Ningbo, Xi’an, Kunming, Changsha, Nanjing, Yinchuan, Nanchang and Changchun. The selection lasted for four months and the evaluation covers indices of city’s natural environment, transportation, development speed, civilization, opportunity of earning money, medical care, education level, housing, friendliness, security, employment environment, and life convenience.
