Starting July 7, bullet trains (or Dongche) will be available from Nanjing to Xiamen. The new route for fast train D3135 now includes Nanjing, Zhenjiang, Danyang, Wuxi, Changzhou, Suzhou, Kunshan and Xiamen. The entire trip is 11 hours and 37 minutes long, which is significantly shorter than the original 19-hour long Nanjing-Xiamen train. It is reported that the D3135 train will leave Nanjing Station at 8:11 and arrive at Xiamen North Station at 19:48. The D3137 train (from Xiamen to Nanjing) will operate six times daily, leaving Xiamen North Station at 9:33 and arriving at Nanjing Station at 21:01.
