British rock band Third Cortez will perform at the BCM Life Arts Center (北仓门生活艺术中心) in Wuxi on October 6. They formed in Manchester, then spent six months in a Brooklyn basement, writing and recording with other artists on the New York DIY scene. Their return to London - bringing with them a bigger, more ambitious sound - began with a residency at the historic Troubadour club and lasted throughout 2011. During this time the boys also moved into a warehouse in Limehouse, East London, complete with a self-built recording studio. That's where they recorded and produced their own debut EP, “The Flipside”. Come join singer Jack Buckett and his rocking band mates in Wuxi this October.
