The new high-speed train between Beijing and Guilin will begin operation on December 28, just in time for the new year. Trains G529 and G530 will leave Beijing at 08:20 and arrive in Guilin almost 10 hours later at 18:18. The return journey will depart Guilin at 12:00 and arrive at Beijing West Railway Station at 22:00.
