Beijing rules out suspected Ebola case

A passenger flying back into Beijing from Liberia feared to be infected with Ebola, was deemed safe after being held under hospital observation at Beijing Ditan Hospital.

The man suffered from dizziness, vomiting, and fever, all of which are symptoms of Ebola. According to Chinese health regulations, those presenting with these symptoms and suffering from a fever over 37.3 degrees Celcius must be placed under observation.

China’s history with epidemics means that it is on high alert now, and monitoring all passengers entering the country from Ebola-infected areas to avoid the epidemic from spreading into China.
