12,000 Beijing buses have been kitted with new Wi-Fi, from 3G to 4G cards. This new Internet will provide passengers with a much more stable connection.
The speed of the Wi-Fi I up to 50MB/s, which is necessary considering 40 people sometimes use it simultaneously.
Considering the looming increase in subway fares in Beijing, more people will start taking the bus. Wi-Fi on these buses will be upgraded accordingly, authorities have said.
