Beijing Taxi Fuel Surcharge Raised to 3 RMB

On March 1, the fuel surcharge for taxis in Beijing was increased from 2 to 3 RMB. The same as before, the surcharge does not apply to rides less than 3 km. Fare prices still start at 10 RMB for the first 3 km, and then increase to 2 RMB per km up to 15 km and 3 RMB per km after that.
