The third Beijing Solana Lights Festival opening ceremony took place on the night of December 17. Using thousands of sea animals and inspired by the ocean floor for its architecture and lamp designs, a 130,000-square-meter space was used for the brilliantly lit nighttime outing. The festival will continue until February 28, 2011.
