A suspicious package was reported yesterday afternoon outside the U.S. Embassy. Suspecting explosives, police rushed to the scene. Beijing police released an official statement on Weibo yesterday evening that the package had been disposed of and the area had been evacuated. The package was found near Dongfang East Road in Maizidian, Chaoyang.
