As of March 1, Beijing Capital Airport’s currency exchange is exchanging for the South African Rand, the Egyptian Pound, the Turkish Lira, and the Qatar Riyal at all booths across the airport, according to the Beijing branch of the State Administration of Foreign Exchange.
Currently, exchange booths at Beijing’s Capital Airport deal with 29 different types of currency, making them the most comprehensive currency exchange service in the country.
There are 27 currency exchange booths in the airport, mostly located in the domestic arrivals hall of Terminal 1, the arrivals hall of Terminal 2, the departure and quarantine lounges of Terminal 2, as well as the departure and arrival halls of Terminal 3.
