Following the APEC meetings’ ending, the official APEC sites are now open to tourists starting from last Friday.

The area is located at the bottom of Yashan Mountain, in Huairou District, north of Beijing, and surrounds a beautiful lake. It can be covered in a day, and travel agencies are reportedly promoting one-day tours of the lake for about 150 RMB.

Authorities hope that the APEC site will be used for more conferences and meetings in the future.
