NASDAQ reports that Bank of China has reached a deal worth nearly 600 million USD for an office building in Manhattan. This is the latest of large deals in which Chinese capital has taken the United States real estate market by storm.

The pricey property is located between 40th Street and 6th Street in Manhattan. It is a 28-story glass office building at 7 Bryant Park with a total area of 470,000 square feet (43,700 square meters), slightly south of the Bank of America tower.

What's the point? The Bank of China is useless. Won't even be linked to the mainland banks. I went to the BOC in Sydney thinking I could link it to my accounts in China. What a waste of time.
