Avatar, the spectacular new film by Titanic director James Cameron will hit the big screens in China on January 2nd. Audiences in Guilin can enjoy the 3D film from January 2nd onwards.

Avatar takes us to a world beyond our imagination. A reluctant hero ventures into the mysterious Pandora, a moon covered in jungle and home to various extra-terrestrial species. As humans try to mine the planet’s precious ore, tensions rise between humans and the Navi—a much stronger humanoid race. It is Jake’s mission to infiltrate their culture in order to obtain the precious resources but as time goes on he falls in love with the Navi, their culture and their home. He faces the ultimate test when he leads the Navi into an epic battle that ultimately decides the fate of an entire world.
