It's been three years since he last stepped on Chinese soil, but this March American DJ and turntablist Rob Swift is back to get the party started. A former member of the turntablist group the X-Ecutioners, Swift is considered a maverick on the turntables, effortlessly dropping Old School soul and jazz inspired beats, interspersed with New York street-style Hip Hop beats. As one magazine describes him, "Rob is all killa and no filla on the decks."
Besides entertaining Nanjing punters, Swift has another agenda: to remember his friend, the late Roc Raida, aka Grandmaster Roc Raida. Don't miss one of the biggest parties of the year!
Getting there: take bus no. 2, 3, 15, 31 34, 65, 68, 80, 95, 304, 313, 801 or游1 to Dahanghong Bei stop. The venue is 150 metres from the bus stop.
