On Feb. 17, reporters learned from China Mobile Zhejiang Branch, 3G Network Engineering is under construction in Zhejiang and over 1,000 base stations have been opened in the whole province. 3G Network in Hangzhou and Ningbo will open in March. 3G Network in the other regions of Zhejiang will be postponed to open in October this year.
After the network opens, China Mobile will test 3G products, design products and set their prices. It is estimated that 3G business will be formally operated in Hangzhou and Ningbo in the first half of this year and the number section of 188 will be offered during the same period. A worker from the Marketing Department of the mobile told that cell phone online fees will go on utilizing the method of collecting expense according to the flux, and the expense standard will be not higher than 2G after 3G business is opened.
