30 Percent of Bus Services Halted amid Heavy Pollution Warning

On October 8, Xi’an’s air quality index (AQI) reached dangerous levels.

Because of this, Xi’an has implemented emergency measures against pollution and will be halting 30 percent of public transport vehicles.

The pollution has affected most of northern China and is expected to last until October 11.
