2nd and 3rd Tier Cities in China, Qingdao and Ningbo
Mar 25, 2009 By eChinacities.com

Due to increased demand for information on 2nd tier & 3rd tier cities by our chamber members, we have decided to run a workshop series on lower tier cities in China, as more and more companies are now considering entering or moving west to benefit from lower costs and the market potential.

Our first workshop, introduced Tianjin and Suzhou. Our guest speakers provided great case studies and the audience was engaged and interested to hear about the opportunities and challenges companies faced in Suzhou and Tianjin since entering the markets.

Our second workshop will provide an overview of lower tier cities in China with particular focus on Qingdao and Ningbo.

The guest speakers, who have either extensive knowledge or are located in the relevant cities, will provide both a general market overview including key market dynamics and address possible opportunities and challenges for foreign companies.

The JLJ Group will open the workshop with an overview of tier 2 and tier 3 cities in China followed by more comprehensive information on Qingdao and Ningbo. In addition, 2 case studies will be presented about each different city. The workshop will be concluded by a Q&A session.

Speakers: Mark Ray (The JLJ Group), Steve Dickinson (Harris Moure), Bill Dodson (Asia Base Law & Projects)
